I've had packages stolen off my my porch, so this video made me extra happy. I've learned there are batteries that will last longer than I lifetimes now, I wonder how useful a battery like that might be for recovering your packages.

I'd suggest the next box to have a centre projectile. A sensor to know there is above clearance before projecting, and then projecting say 5 ft high to release confetti in a larger spread radius than the current glitter spills to. Make a MESS. Some people got saved because they put the lid back on so quickly and the glitter and fart remained IN the Box. Make it less preventable!!

In Australia, if a parcel is too big to fit in the letter box, and the person is not home to collect it, the parcel will be taken to the nearest post office for the owner to collect it. A note is left in the letter box for the owner to see that it arrived (as well as a text). It is not left on the porch of a property. This has stopped the majority of thefts. Not sure why this isn't done in the US.

if that was me making the bait package, I would have not only the fart smell and glitter, I would make the sound, say "police are now tracking at your location". If you think about if the package pirate heard that they would hesitantly throw it out and think that police are now doing something with the stolen package. But that's my guess if it something possible and stops people to steal packages from other people.

YOU MADE ONE MISTAKE MARK!!!! I’m a septic plumber I deal with literal crap on a daily basis! My nose is dead so if I can smell it that’s bad! So next time you make poop spray ask if a septic worker thinks it smells bad if he smells it then it is horrible!!!!
